Prices & Information

This year we continue with the cheap and flexible pricing that we started a few years back.

The low prices listed below are made possible by the generosity of our sangha members who are giving freely of their time and resources. We have separated the price for food and lodging from the donation to Rinpoche. You pay Gomde for food and your choice of accommodation. You personally give donations for the teachings directly to Rinpoche. This is quite in harmony with the original Dharma tradition.

Remember that everyone helps with a small daily jobs.

Prices for accommodation and food.

The amount covers all your meals and overnight stays. It also includes your Sangha Card that is needed to enjoy meals at Gomde.

The SummerCamp has 8 parts.

You can stay in Gomde, participate in morning and afternoon meditation and eat the meals, even if you do not participate in a set of teachings. For example, several people choose to serve Rinpoche and you during half of the SummerCamp half while participating in the other.
If you live outside of Gomde, the price is the same as for camping.

We suggest a donation of 17 € per teaching session to Rinpoche. It goes to his charitable projects, and to providing nearly a thousand monks and nuns with daily meals, accommodation, education and health care. If a course has four sessions, your suggested donation is 68 €.

If you are a student or retired your donation can be smaller and if you have a permanent job it is likely to be more. You give the donation to Rinpoche in an envelope with a khatak at the end of each course section.

Suggested donation to the lamas or monks is 10 € each at the end of each course section.

To follow the original Dharma tradition, and to keep prices low, please consider a contribution to Rinpoche’s travel expenses, (include the amount in your bank transfer):

Registration/payment

To be sure you have a room or space in the dorm, register and pay as soon as possible. Your reservation for a bed in a room is valid when you receive confirmation for payment.

Please make your reservation and payment for the chosen accommodation and meals paid to Sydbank.

Registration for SummerCamp 2009 is possible right up to the section you wish to participate in.

It is a great help to us if you sign up and pay the participant fee in time before SummerCamp begins. This makes arrival registration also much faster.

Reservation of indoor accommodation in dorm or room shall be binding on Gomde when we have registered your payment.
