Six sessions: Saturday 7.30 pm - 9 pm, Sunday 10-12 am and 7.30 pm - 9 pm, Monday 10-12 am and 7.30 pm - 9 pm, and Tuesday 10-12 am
Guided meditation periods and teaching. What does it means to be a Buddhist? The importance of teachers and lineage of transmission. Mind-training and meditation. A lecture with memories from Erik's many years in the East. All are welcome.
This part is recommended for who is interested in the Buddha's paths to enlightenment and who has plenty of unanswered questions. Introduction to basic Buddhism is offered.

June 28. Welcoming ceremony and Rinpoche's arrival speech
Exact time will be announced.
In a traditional Buddhist fashion we form a welcome procession for a great bodhisattva and escort him into the temple hall. Come earlier if you wish to participate in decorating the road and temple with auspicious symbols and flowers. Put on your finest, hold insence and a white, red or yellow scarf. Everyone is welcome.

Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche: Compassion and egolessness
Four sessions: Tuesday 19.30-21, Wednesday 9-13 og 19.30-21, Thursday 9-12
Rinpoche explains how to loosen up our mind’s tendency to create confusion and how to extend the natural love and to be present for others.
The teaching is coupled with meditation training in Mahamudra.
During this course, Rinpoche also holds an optional refuge ceremony during which one formally becomes a Buddhist. There is also an opportunity to take the bodhisattva vow and to receive an introduction to the fundamental ngöndro training.

Open to all interested.
Recommended for anyone who has discovered the value of compassion, that selfishness is a major hindrance for progress - as are the emotions that spring from anger and basic blindness - and who wants to discover the heart of the Buddha's path to enlightenment.
The ceremony for taking refuge and the vow of a bodhisattva will be offered.

Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche: Simplicity and the nature of mind - the key instructions in meditation
Four sessions: Thursday 7.30-9 pm, Friday 9-1 am og 7.30-9 pm, and Saturday 9-12 am
Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche shares advice from his own realized masters and his own experience.
The main points are covered for both new and old Buddhists.
The teaching is combined with Dzogchen training.

Recommended for anyone who wants to receive essential advice on how to practice the rest of their life, with the certainty that all the Buddha's teachings can be contained within simple and yet very deep methods.

Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche: Introducing Vajrayana
One session
Overview of the buddhas' inner path. Rinpoche may use as basis the Ocean of Amrita, to show how we retake our basic mandala, the nature of reality. Super-important to hear.
Recommended for anyone who wishes to have opened up the door to the Vajrayana view and practice.
Section 5: Jul 4 – 9am – 5pm
Ocean of Amrita with Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche (full-day Ngakso practice)
Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche presides over the ceremony as vajra master.
A Vajrayana practice which embodies all its main aspects, based on Padmasambhava and the hundred peaceful and wrathful deities.
On behalf of family and friends who died since last year or who are sick, one can donate money for food and drink for all participants, and give gifts to Rinpoche and the lamas. Bring a small photo of the person concerned (as photocopy) and Rinpoche will perform a special dedication for him/her.
Open to all interested. In Rinpoche's monastery and retreat centers can everyone participate in each their own way. So you can also participate in the ceremony by singing along in the mantra recitation, cooking, etc. Friends and family are also welcome.
Remember: Dress your finest; wear a Dharma shawl if you have one.

Mahamudra and Dzogchen Retreat
Rinpoche explans and guides in the most essential view and training based on a song by the 3rd Karmapa Rangjung Dorje.
The methods in songs of these types shows how a yogi in one moment can leave samsara's confused state and arrive at the awakened state of a buddha.
During this course Rinpoche provides a Dzogchen empowerment based on Trekchö, the “thorough cut”.
Recommended Reading: The Eighth Situpa on the Third Karmapa's Mahamudra Prayer.
The retreat is for students who have started the preliminary practices (ngöndro) and trained sincerely for a while, and who are committed to follow this tried and proven way to removing hindrances for direct realization.
Rinpoche will transmit the Mahamudra and Dzogchen ways of dissolving ego, thoughts and emotions - on the spot - to allow for making progress to enlightenment seriously faster.

It is possible to disrupt the stream of illusion and all thoughts by identifying naked awareness devoid of dualistic ideas. This insight and training is known as Trekchö.
To recognize this experience through the oral instructions from your master and to maintain it uninterrupted in all aspects of life is the very essence of Dzogchen practice. This teaching will be based on the key instructions of Padmasambhava to the dakini Yeshe Tsogyal.
Rinpoche will also give a special Dzogchen empowerment from Padmasambhava.
